Driving Digital Impact Across the Caribbean

The Digital Facility for the Caribbean contributes to strengthening the region’s capacity to harness digital technologies as a catalyst for sustainable development and inclusive growth. By supporting governments and regional partners in the design and implementation of digital strategies, the Facility helps create the institutional and technological conditions necessary for innovation to generate tangible public value.

Our impact is reflected in the ability of countries to develop stronger digital ecosystems that improve governance, expand access to services and foster new opportunities for economic participation. Through technical support, policy guidance and regional collaboration, the Facility helps governments integrate digital tools into public administration, enabling more efficient, transparent and responsive institutions. These efforts contribute to improving the quality of public services while strengthening trust between citizens and institutions.

The Digital Facility also supports the development of digital public infrastructure and data governance frameworks that allow countries to manage and use information responsibly for decision-making and policy design. By promoting open collaboration and knowledge exchange across the Caribbean, the initiative facilitates the sharing of experiences and solutions that can be adapted and scaled across different national contexts.

Beyond institutional transformation, the Facility contributes to building digital capabilities among public servants, innovators and development actors across the region. These investments in knowledge and capacity ensure that digital transformation is not only technological, but also social and institutional, empowering countries to navigate the opportunities and risks of the digital era.

Through these combined efforts, the Digital Facility for the Caribbean advances a regional digital transformation that supports resilient institutions, inclusive development and progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that the benefits of digital innovation reach communities across the Caribbean.
